How to Manually Update Your HTC ONE With Google Play JellyBean 4.2.2 Firmware

If you are looking for you HTC ONE to be transformed into Google edition then you can do this by following this guide.Before you can proceed please read the pre requirements and the disclaimer carefully .

Pre requirement:-

1. Back up your device with Titanium Backup.
2. Your device should be at least 80% charged.
3. Your device should be rooted and the bootloader should be unlocked.If not then please follow our simple guide to root your device.Head over Here.
4. Enable USB debugging of your device from the developers option in the settings menu.

Procedure:-

1. Download the Google Jellybean 4.2.2 Firmware Package from Here
2. Now copy the zip file in your sd card
3. Download Rom Manager from Playstore.
4. Open Rom Manager and install the recovery for HTC ONE.
5. Now open Rom manager again and enter into recovery mode from ROM Manager.
6. Now select "Install zip from SDcard" 
7. Now select the zip file which you have copied in your sdcard.
8. The process will take around six to seven minutes to complete once it is complete you will see"Install from sdcard Complete".
9. Go back and select "Reboot system now".
10. Once your device is in normal mode you are done.

Tip :-If the device gets into the boot loop sequence or say gets stuck in the welcome screen, long press the Power Button and re follow the above instructions so as to again follow the above mentioned instructions.
